City Image branch

City Image Branch is part of Dubbo City Council’s Corporate Development Division.

Council established the Branch to implement a City Image Program, with the aim of delivering a more cohesive, co-ordinated approach to promoting Dubbo.

Through the City Image Program, the Branch works closely with industry and stakeholder groups to deliver marketing campaigns. These campaigns support growth across many sectors of the local economy including destination marketing for leisure and business tourism, as well as investment, event and skill attraction.

The Branch operates the accredited Dubbo City Information Centre.

How your business can work with the City Image Branch:

• Support co-operative marketing opportunities: media campaigns, production of collateral and sponsorship of events
• Utilise City Image marketing channels: including city website, city guides, the Visitors Centre, events and trade shows
• Access market research: including visitation profiles and economic indicators
• To participate in cooperative regional and statewide marketing initiatives: the Branch is a member of Central NSW Tourism, Newell Highway Promotions Committee and Film Central NSW
• Reach visitors through the City Information Centre 
• Event support and promotion: assisting event organisers from bid to bed
• Access to images and editorial: providing information on Dubbo that helps sell the City and your business
• Involvement in business development: the branch supports ‘best-practice’ industry initiatives.
