If you are aged 14 to 17, all you need to do is complete a short questionnaire (approx 15 minutes) by November 30, 2009. The questionnaire explores young people’s ideas about the format and design of a mental health promotion workshop.

All participants who complete the study will go into a draw to win an 8G iPod Nano.

The Nevilles are a popular cover band that is sure to have your toes tapping with an array of songs from the 50s to now!

Zoo Grooves is a fun family day out with children's activities and supporting acts.

Proceeds from the event will support the Zoo's Rhino conservation programs for the Black, White and Greater One-Horned Rhinos.

youTHINK: live & online!

You are invited to participate in … youTHINK: live & online!

Thursday 12 November, 1pm-3pm AEDST (local times are 10am in W.A., 11:30am in N.T., 12noon in QLD, 12:30pm in S.A)

There will be three 25 minute sessions – you can choose any or all. Further details will be made available soon on the AYF website.

Hosted by the Hon Kate Ellis MP, Minister for Early Childhood Education, Child Care and Youth with MC Myf Warhurst (of Specks and Specks fame). Myf Warhurst appears by arrangement with Saxton Speakers Bureau.

The event will be held in Sydney and webcast live so you can join in.

You will be able to vote on some of the ideas from the National Conversation to inform the National Strategy for Young Australians.

  • At school? If you're in school, please talk to your teacher about getting your class involved.
  • At home? You can use your home computer to participate.
  • Community? You can talk to your youth worker or community centre staff to set it up.

All you have to do is be a member of the Macquarie Regional Library - use your Borrower Number on your Library Card (the number under the barcode) to connect to the Your Tutor Service.
