Use your writing & online skills to help us engage young people to connect to their community, to social justice issues and to change the world.
Who are we looking for?
People with the following interests and skills:
- Strong communication, research and writing skills (writing for the web is desirable)
- A strong interest in engaging new audiences in social justice issues through social media
- Experience using Wordpress or other blogs
- An understanding of youth culture & a strong interest in exploring social justice issues through at least one of our key topic areas: Music & arts; Fashion; Food; Travel; Sport; Technology; Health; Sustainable Livelihoods; Human Rights; Peace & Conflict; Global Community
What do we expect from you?
- Commit to a 4 month internship, contributing 10-12 hours per week.
- Publish 3 - 5 blog posts per week
- Attend fortnightly editorial meetings at our Sydney office (during work hours)
- Work independently & balance your hours across the week
