Dubbo Youth Taxi Vouchers

Friday, July 03, 2009

A cheap safe travel option for those aged between 12 to 17 years - for travelling anytime the buses are not running.

For $5 you can travel within the 70 km speed limits of Dubbo.

Any costs over $15 you have to pay so you can save up to $10 on a taxi ride. Just give the voucher to the taxi driver at the end of your trip.

Up to four 12 to 17 year-olds can share the same voucher if you are all being picked up or dropped off at the same place which makes a cheap way to go to work or the movies.

The vouchers are available from the PCYC or Dubbo City Council and you can buy up to five in a week.

Ultimately, this gives you the independence to travel to and from work, sport, school or a friends place cheaply.
